Rehab Assistant - Part-time
Join Children's Wisconsin as a part-time rehab assistant who will assist with patient care, perform clerical functions, and maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for patient care.
LocationGreenfield Clinic, 3365 South 103rd Street, Milwaukee, WI 53227.
HoursMonday–Thursday, 1:00 pm–6:00 pm (20 hours per week).
Responsibilities- Assist with patient care and clerical duties.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment for patient care.
- Float to other clinics as needed to cover outages.
- High school education or equivalent; ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.
- Preferred prior experience in a pediatric healthcare environment.
- Current CPR certification – Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers through American Heart or American Red Cross.
- Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with physicians, patients, visitors, families, and team members.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and prioritizing skills for a fast‑paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift and position patients weighing up to 75 pounds, and to push and pull tasks during cleaning.
- Capability to bend, lift, twist, reach, and squat frequently.
- Occasional overhead work and assistance with splint carts and wheelchair patients.
- BLS‑Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider – American Heart Association / American Red Cross / National Safety Council.
