Responsibilities
  • General Training & Comprehension – learn and perform job assignments of housekeeper, heavy housekeeper/floor tech, and laundry worker positions, and train others.
  • Leadership Development – assist in training, quality control, in‑servicing of staff per policies and procedures and federal/state requirements.
  • Policies & Procedures – provide leadership and guidance to maintain quality standards, inventory, safety guidelines, and customer service expectations.
  • Reporting – maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment.
  • Training – responsible for all training, quality control and in‑servicing staff to meet HCSG standards.
  • Leadership – handle managerial responsibilities including payroll, staffing patterns, coaching, discipline, purchasing, inventory, and budgeting.
  • Communication – effectively communicate directives from client managers, building occupants, and administrators.
  • Safety – ensure proper use of cleaning solutions and adherence to safety precautions.
  • Punctuality – consistent attendance and timely completion of cleaning duties.
  • Customer / Resident Experience – represent HCSG positively with courteous and cooperative interactions.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • After training, use leadership skills to accomplish responsibilities without supervision.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer skills, maintain records, complete web‑based reports.
  • Must be scheduled consistently and on time.
  • Compliance with COVID‑19 vaccination policies.
  • Physical requirements – lift/carry up to 50 lbs, stand/sit/bend/walk for extended periods.
  • Perform routine repetitive tasks continuously.
  • Work around food and cleaning products.
  • Live in the service area.
