Assistant Golf Professional

Overview

Hidden Glen is looking to add an additional golf professional for the 2026 season.

As an Assistant Golf Professional at Hidden Glen, your primary responsibility is to provide world‑class customer service to all members and guests, ensuring an exceptional golf experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop and refine your skills in a private club environment.

You will learn from a multiple award‑winning professional staff who have trained and mentored 4 WPGA Assistant Professionals of the Year.

Qualifications:

• 1-2 years of experience as an Assistant Golf Professional.
• PGA Member or Associate in good standing.
• Private club experience preferred.
• Professional appearance and demeanor.
• Strong communication skills.

Golf Operations:

• Assist the Head Golf Professional in all aspects of the golf operation.
• Help coordinate, plan, and execute golf leagues and tournaments.
• Become proficient in Golf Genius and other tournament software.
• Clearly understand and communicate tournament formats, rules, and scoring.
• Manage Golf Shop operations, including POS transactions and tee time scheduling.
• Engage with members on the course and work on your own game.

Outside Services:

• Deliver exceptional customer service to all members and guests.
• Assist with daily driving range operations.
• Provide bag room services.
• Manage the daily tee sheet and ensure accurate billing.
• Support golf cart fleet management and procedures.

Golf Shop:

• Process merchandise transactions using the POS system.
• Assist with merchandising, including product display curation and inventory management.
• Anticipate member and guest needs by recommending appropriate merchandise.

Teaching &

Coaching:

• Assist the Head Golf Professional with junior golf programming.
• Gain experience using instructional technology.
• Support clinics and camps, including the weekly Ladies 3‑Hole League.
• Offer private lessons to members.
