Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Responsible for following batch instructions and document actions taken.
• Responsible for communicating departmental activities to fellow workers at shift change.
• Responsible for adherence to the plant safety policy and safety procedures and guidelines.
• Responsible for ensuring environmental compliance within the department.
• Responsible for the on time production of product.
• Responsible for participation in the cost of quality program.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must meet all the qualifications of two, of the four, ‘Core Areas’. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Education and/or Experience

High school graduate with experience in the industrial business area. Some background in chemistry preferred.

Language Skills

Must be able to communicate well with others and be able to understand and communicate written instructions.

Mathematical Skills

Should be able to perform simple mathematical calculations, such as addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.

Reasoning Ability

Must be able to understand and make decisions as to the manufacturing and packaging of products.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

None.

Physical Demands

Should possess the physical dexterity to perform any task required in the area, including but not restricted to lifting, climbing ladders/stairs, kneeling/squatting.

Work Environment

Job requires both inside and outside work, and exposure to varying weather elements. Off shift and overtime to be expected.

Other Requirements

All personnel are required to participate in all facility & corporate Safety Training programs, as well as any site‑specific safety training and policies.
