The Registered Nurse (RN) – Med Surg position at Atrium Health Navicent provides comprehensive medical‑surgical nursing care across all age groups, including critical care tasks such as cardiac monitoring, ventilator management, continuous IV infusions, and invasive line management. This role requires RN licensure, ACLS and BCLS certifications, and strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities- Implement the nursing process to deliver age‑appropriate patient care.
- Provide critical care, including continuous cardiac monitoring, emergency care management, ventilator and line management.
- Educate patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams regarding medical conditions and self‑care.
- Coordinate with physicians and other stakeholders to develop and execute care plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
- Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
- Licensed RN in Georgia or Alabama (as required).
- ACLS and BCLS certification.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, commitment to customer service.
- Ability to work cooperatively with patients, families, and medical staff.
Hourly pay $34.90 – $52.35 depending on qualifications and experience.
