Job Requirements and Duties

You must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards, plus access to an insured vehicle usable for delivery. You should have navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within the designated delivery area, and be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings.

General

Job Duties For All Store Team Members

• Operate all equipment.
• Stock ingredients from the delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product.
• Receive and process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Training

Orientation and on-the-job training are provided.

Communication Skills

• Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
• Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders over the phone and in person.

Essential Functions/Skills

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and use a calculator.
• Must be able to make correct monetary change.
• Verbal and written communication skills to take and process orders; motor coordination for precise movements with speed.
• Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
• Navigational skills to read a map and locate addresses within the delivery area.
• Navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks.
• In-store temperatures range from cool to hot depending on area.
• Exposure to food odors and cornmeal dust; cramped quarters including walk-in coolers.
• Hot surfaces/tools up to 500 degrees or higher; sharp edges and moving parts.
• Varying weather conditions when delivering, driving, and couponing.

Sensing

• Listening and speaking on phone; near and mid-range vision for in-store tasks; depth perception; ability to differentiate hot and cold surfaces; far and night vision for driving.

Physical Requirements

• Standing:
  Most tasks are performed standing; work surfaces generally between 36" and 48" high.
• Walking:
  Short distances for short durations; travel between store and delivery vehicle and customer location as part of duties.
• Sitting:
  Paperwork typically completed at a desk.
• Lifting:
  Deliveries may include cases weighing up to 50 pounds; lifting from floor to shelves up to 72"; carrying of items such as cans, sauces, dough trays; carrying pizzas and beverages during delivery.
• Pushing/Pulling:
  Move trays on dollies; pushing force up to about 7.5 pounds.
• Climbing/Stooping/Bending/Crouching/Reaching:
  Occasional stairs or ladder work; bending/applying reach beyond 72" as needed; frequent reaching during various duties including oven control, stocking, cleaning, and sign changes.
• Driving:
  Deliver pizzas within the designated delivery area and may perform multiple deliveries per shift.
• Machines/Tools:
  Pencils, pens, computers, telephones, calculators, TDD equipment, pizza cutter, and pizza peel.

Driving Specific
