SUMMARY

Imperial Trading Co., LLC is looking for highly motivated and skilled CDL Class C Route Drivers to join our Team working from the Cedartown, GA area. We are proud that our Company has been in business for more than 100 years and continues to expand as one of the nation's largest food distributors.

• Valid Georgia Class C DL & current DOT medical card
• At least 1 year (6 months considered) of commercial driving experience
• Must be able to pass road test
• Must have an acceptable driving record based on DOT and Company insurance mandates
• Must be in compliance with DOT's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse provisions

• Responsible for being constantly vigilant to detect unexpected road conditions, distracted drivers, and motorists who don’t understand how commercial vehicles operate; commercial drivers must operate in a safe manner in accordance with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations.
• Conducts daily pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of vehicle (truck, tractor, etc.) and equipment prior to departure and upon return from route; any defects are to be reported and brought to the attention of management immediately.
• Responsible for accurate and efficient product delivery procedures.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to climb ladders or ramps. The employee is frequently required to talk or hear and use hands to touch, handle or feel. The employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift 20‑40 pounds and occasionally lift 50 to 75 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
