The Senior Accountant will report to the Controller and support the day-to-day accounting and financial operations of Automotive Titling Company (ATC). This position plays a critical role in supporting leadership decision‑making and maintaining compliance as ATC continues to scale.

ATC operates in a highly regulated, transaction‑driven space supporting automotive dealers nationwide. Duties/Responsibilities:- Oversee and execute the monthly close process, including account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis
- Prepare and review financial reports for senior leadership, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Manage and support AP, AR, billing, and revenue recognition activities
- Ensure adherence to U.S. GAAP, internal accounting policies, and documentation standards
- Support annual audit and tax processes to ensure timely and accurate filings
- Partner with Finance leadership to identify process improvements and efficiency opportunities
- Maintain strong internal and external relationships to resolve accounting issues and improve workflows
- Assist with special projects, ad‑hoc financial analysis, and reporting as needed
- Support system and process implementations to improve accuracy, compliance, and scalability
- Provide and gather information by responding to internal and external accounting and financial inquiries
- Communicate clearly and effectively with cross‑functional leaders to support operational and financial alignment
- Team Orientation – Ability to perform well independently and collaboratively. You are dependable, organized, and take ownership of your work while supporting the broader Finance and Operations teams.
- Accounting Expertise & Judgment – Strong understanding of accounting principles and the ability to apply them accurately in a fast‑paced environment.
- Attention to Detail – You consistently detect errors, discrepancies, and inconsistencies before they become issues.
- Time Management & Prioritization – Ability to manage competing deadlines, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet close and reporting timelines.
- Process Improvement Mindset – You proactively look for ways to improve systems, documentation, and workflows.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- CPA preferred but not required
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Strong working knowledge of U.S. GAAP
- Experience supporting audits and tax processes
- Experience in a fast‑paced, growing organization preferred
$80,000 – $100,000 annually, DOE
