Job Summary:
The Administrative Analyst performs clerical and receptionist duties in accordance with the mission and values of the Medical Center of Aurora. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for greeting visitors at the control desk; answering telephones; scheduling add‑on cases under the direction of the charge RN; maintaining clerical supplies and forms; and completing duties required for the daily operation of the unit.
The Administrative Assistant assists the Charge Nurse and leadership with day‑to‑day duties and responsibilities as assigned. The Administrative Assistant participates in department performance improvement initiatives. Administrative Assistant demonstrates advanced skills and knowledge in operations, assisting charge RN in scheduling of urgent and emergent cases; staff assignments, and coordination of all departmental operations.
Responsibilities:
- Greeting visitors at the control desk.
- Answering telephones.
- Scheduling add‑on cases under the direction of the charge RN.
- Maintaining clerical supplies and forms.
- Completing duties required for the daily operation of the unit.
- Assisting the Charge Nurse and leadership with day‑to‑day duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Participating in department performance improvement initiatives.
- Assisting charge RN in scheduling urgent and emergent cases, staff assignments, and coordination of all departmental operations.
Qualifications:
- 6 months’ previous administrative/clerical experience preferred.
- High School Graduate / GED.
