Construction Superintendent

DCPS – Commercial property services contractor founded in 2011, serving over 1,100 clients with more than 300 employees across 7 divisions, including Asphalt & Concrete, Waterproofing & Specialty Coatings, Roofing, Snow Removal & Parking Lot Sweeping, Landscaping, and Construction.

Responsibilities Project Management & Supervision
  • Oversee 1‑3 projects simultaneously, ensuring schedule and budget compliance.
  • Manage and coordinate 4‑5 crews for optimal productivity.
  • Conduct daily site inspections to meet specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Monitor job progress and proactively resolve challenges impacting timelines or quality.
  • Review and interpret project plans, blueprints, and specifications.
Team Leadership & Training
  • Provide ongoing training and mentorship, especially in irrigation and landscape installation techniques.
  • Lead morning preparedness routines, crew assignments, stretching, and safety toolbox talks.
  • Ensure all crew members use proper PPE.
  • Model professionalism and adherence to company policies and safety standards.
Safety & Compliance
  • Implement and enforce OSHA and company safety protocols.
  • Identify hazards and ensure corrective measures.
  • Maintain required safety documentation and compliance records.
Operational Coordination & Reporting
  • Communicate with project managers, clients, and stakeholders for updates.
  • Coordinate material deliveries, equipment usage, and subcontractor schedules.
  • Track and report crew hours, progress, and project issues.
  • Maintain company tools, vehicles, and equipment.
Quality Control & Client Relations
  • Conduct final walkthroughs and punch‑list inspections.
  • Address client concerns and ensure satisfaction.
  • Maintain company reputation in all interactions.
Compensation & Benefits
