Front Desk / Customer Service Specialist
Location:
Centennial, CO 80112 Pay Rate: $24.00 / hour
Schedule:
Tuesday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (30 hours/week) Position Type:
Temporary (6–9 Month Duration)
Position Summary We are seeking a welcoming, reliable, and organized Front Desk / Customer Service Specialist to join our clients team in Centennial, CO. As the primary point of contact for our resource center, you will greet visitors, answer general questions about our services, assist jobseekers with online tools, and ensure smooth daily operations. Key Responsibilities- Visitor Greeting & Check-In:
Act as the first point of contact, welcoming all visitors into the resource center and maintaining a professional, friendly atmosphere. - Service Navigation:
Provide accurate basic information regarding our services and direct visitors to the appropriate staff members for scheduled appointments. - Digital Support:
Guide jobseekers through account creation and navigation on Connecting Colorado, assisting individuals with varying levels of digital literacy. - Appointment Scheduling:
Help visitors schedule meetings with career advisors. - Document Management:
Collect, scan, upload, and accurately log jobseeker documents into Connecting Colorado and internal systems.

Clear, confident verbal communication skills to effectively inform and guide jobseekers. - Multitasking & Accuracy:
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment while maintaining strong attention to detail. - Tech Savvy:
Comfortable navigating web-based platforms, databases, and standard software like Microsoft Office. - Data & Document Handling:
Proficient in basic data entry, scanning, and digital file organization. - Problem-Solving:
Quick ability to assess visitor needs and connect them to the right team member or resource. - Discretion & Professionalism:
Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive personal information appropriately. - Reliability:
Punctual, dependable, and committed to supporting team success. - Patient Approach:
Friendly, supportive, and patient demeanor when assisting individuals who may have limited technical skills.

Skills:
Conversational or fluent Spanish–English skills to support our diverse client base. - Relevant
Experience:
Prior background in customer-facing, community-based, or human services environments. - Workforce Development Knowledge:
Familiarity with workforce development programs or resource center operations.
