POSITION SUMMARY: As a Safety Specialist at Winn‑Marion, you will play a pivotal role in advancing, promoting, and enforcing the safety culture that protects our people and strengthens our operations. You will partner closely with multiple departments to identify hazards, develop proactive safety initiatives, and deliver training that ensures a safe, compliant, and high‑performance work environment. Winn‑Marion is an Industrial Electrical and Automation provider serving a wide range of industries across the United States.

We operate on the cutting edge of technology, continually evolving and growing and our safety practices must evolve with us. Candidates must have strong knowledge of electrical and construction hazards and be committed to driving continuous improvement in all aspects of safety.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience managing a safety program.
• Proven experience in safety management, preferably in the Oil and Gas industry.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and a safe driving record; able to travel to various locations within territory, including overnight stays.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and industry standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
• Ability to make presentations to groups using Power Point or other programs.
• Professional certification in safety (e.g., CSP, CIH, or equivalent) is preferred.
• First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
• Familiar with DOT driver compliance.
