Switchboard Hiring is seeking a Structural Engineer (PE) to work at Cronin Engineering in Centennial, CO. This role offers a chance to work on residential, small commercial, and inspection/forensic projects while growing within a small, ambitious firm.

• Design and analyze structural systems for diverse projects - from residential renovations to small commercial builds, working on short timelines in a fast-paced environment
• Spend 20-40% of your time in the field conducting structural inspections, foundation assessments, and forensic evaluations
• Collaborate and communicate directly with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver innovative solutions that meet tight deadlines
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents while ensuring compliance with building codes

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and Professional Engineer (PE) certification required.
• Previous experience working as a structural engineer required.
• Design experience and residential structural experience preferred, but not required.
• Technical proficiency with Mathcad, Bluebeam, and Autodesk products (Revit/AutoCAD).
• Self-starter looking to grow with a small, ambitious engineering firm with advancement opportunities.
• Strong communicator who can discuss complex issues with diverse stakeholders and deliver both good and challenging news professionally.
