As a Structural Engineer you will:
- Design and analyze structural systems for diverse projects - from residential renovations to small commercial builds, working on short timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- Spend 20-40% of your time in the field conducting structural inspections, foundation assessments, and forensic evaluations.
- Collaborate & communicate directly with architects, contractors, and clients to deliver innovative solutions that meet tight deadlines.
- Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and construction documents while ensuring compliance with building codes.
- Self-starter looking to grow with a small, ambitious engineering firm with advancement opportunities.
- Someone that isn t afraid to get their hands (or shoes) dirty and get the job done.
- Strong communicator who can discuss complex issues with diverse stakeholders and deliver both good and challenging news professionally.
- Bachelor s degree in engineering with 1-2 years of structural engineering experience.
- Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) certification required. Technical proficiency with Mathcad, Bluebeam, and Autodesk products (Revit/AutoCAD).
- Design experience and residential structural experience preferred, but not required.
- Location: Centennial, CO (Hybrid)
- Hours: Full-time, mix of in-office, remote, and field
- Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000
