Pharmacy Customer Service Associate

Overview

Join Walgreens as a Pharmacy Customer Service Associate to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.

$17.00/hr – $19.00/hr

• Register sales at assigned cash register and provide friendly, efficient checkout service.
• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in pharmacy practices, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting, offering assistance, and resolving issues to ensure a positive experience.
• Recommend items for sale and perform trade‑up and companion item recommendations.
• Maintain counters, shelves, and OTC aisle cleanliness, perform inventory, and keep records.
• Comply with state and federal regulations, Walgreens policies, and the Pharmacy Code of Conduct.
• Handle telephone calls that do not require personal attention of the pharmacist.
• Assist with pharmacy inventory management, asset protection techniques, and claims processing.

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated PTCB training program.
• Attend training and complete required PPLs, acquire continuing education credits, and maintain knowledge of healthcare and pharmacy developments.

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

• Six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens.
Good math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Computer and store inventory control knowledge.
• PTCB certification.
