Credentialing Coordinator - DNAP (Part-Time)

SALARY:

$21.85 to $25.00+ per hour, the posted salary range represents the minimum to the midpoint within RVU's compensation plan. RVU'sfull compensation structure provides a minimum to a maximum range.

The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will beset based on a variety of factors, including but not limited toskill, knowledge, experience, education, and credentials.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for credentialing matters across all primary and enrichment clinical facilities, verifying that each student's credentialing file meets site-specific and program requirements and flagging deficiencies for resolution.
  • Maintain accurate, current credentialing records for each student, including immunizations, background checks, drug screenings, licensure, required certifications (e.g., BLS/ACLS),health documentation, and any facility-specific compliance items.
  • Track credentialing deadlines and expirations; proactively notify students and follow up to ensure timely submission and renewal of required documentation.
  • Coordinate closely and regularly with the Clinical Coordinator(s) regarding clinical placement needs and facility credentialing requirements, flagging credentialing-related barriers to placement for resolution by appropriate program leadership.
  • Serve as the department liaison to the Admissions Department,coordinating interview scheduling and facilitating Clinical Coordinators' participation in interviews and selection of preferred candidates.
  • Facilitate the connection between the Admissions Department and newly selected students, maintaining consistent communication from application through selection, enrollment, and matriculation.
  • Communicate with facility credentialing offices, compliance officers, and clinical site administrators to confirm student eligibility and resolve documentation discrepancies.
  • Maintain the program's credentialing tracking system and generate status reports for program and clinical leadership upon request.
  • Coordinate regularly with the Assistant Program Director of Clinical Affairs on credentialing standards, placement readiness,and process improvements.
  • Support new-student onboarding by orienting incoming students to credentialing requirements and expectations for each clinical facility.
  • Identify opportunities to improve credentialing workflows and recommend process enhancements to program leadership.
  • Closely monitor the Typhon system to ensure students are submitting required clinical case logs completely, accurately, andon schedule.
  • Coordinate with the Assistant Program Director of Clinical Affairs and Clinical Coordinators, tracking and reporting onstudents' progress toward the clinical case exposure required tosit for the National Certification Examination (NCE) upon graduation.
  • Track individual student progress toward Council on Accreditation (COA) case log requirements, identify students atrisk of deficiency, and elevate concerns to the Assistant Program Director of Clinical Affairs.
  • Track Council on Accreditation (COA) requirements and timelines for clinical site visits at each affiliated facility, and notify program leadership of upcoming site visit needs.
  • Monitor the currency and renewal status of clinical facility affiliation agreements, flagging expiring or expired agreements tothe Assistant Program Director of Clinical Affairs for timely renewal.
  • Maintain current records of each Clinical Coordinator's nameand credentials at affiliated clinical facilities and secure updated curriculum vitae (CVs) as required by the Council on Accreditation (COA) as part of the program's accreditation compliance obligations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Program Director ordesignee.
