Associate Broker

Responsibilities

• Build agent relationships, find sources of business and be creative in placing risks and product opportunities
• Seek opportunities to access new insurance markets and products
• Play a producer role in the dynamic growth of a highly successful and consistently profitable company
• Use cutting‑edge technology to deliver high quality service to agents and agencies
• Partner with a service‑oriented corporate headquarters staff
• Define and monitor successful sales and marketing strategies in cooperation with senior management
• Be technologically savvy, data driven and develop those capabilities in the branch office team
• Supervise execution of company underwriting guidelines, corporate policy and procedures and compliance with contract terms
• Manage relationships with retail agents and branch underwriter/broker producers
• Drive consistency and quality in operational processes
• Find and cultivate brokerage markets
• Find and build agent relationships to promote business growth
• Be creative in developing solutions for individual risk placement as well as program business development

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in the insurance industry
• Insurance license preferred
