Commercial Insurance Underwriter Level 3

Position Overview :
We are hiring an experienced Underwriter III to manage large, complex insurance accounts and mentor junior staff. This strategic role combines high-level risk assessment, independent underwriting, and leadership in marketing and client consultation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead underwriting of large accounts

• Train and mentor junior underwriters

• Conduct high-level risk assessments and site visits

• Perform independent pricing, rating, and binding

• Develop marketing presentations and represent the organization externally

• Identify trends, support actuarial analysis, and drive retention

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

• 8–10 years commercial insurance experience

• Property & Casualty Producer License (or ability to obtain)

• Valid Driver’s License

Nice-to-Have Qualifications:

• CIC, CRM, or ARM certifications
