The OpportunityWe are looking for an extremely motivated and passionate strategic operations leader to help disrupt the residential home services industry. The Vice President of Field Operations will oversee and optimize all operational aspects of our residential home electrification business across Canada and the United States, driving efficiency, enhancing service quality, and implementing scalable processes to support growth.
What You Will Do- Develop and execute operational strategies to optimize service delivery across multiple locations in Canada and the U.S.
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and customer expectations.
- Lead and mentor regional and local operational teams, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational efficiency, service quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Drive cost efficiency initiatives, including parts utilization, workforce optimization, and process improvements.
- Collaborate with the executive team to develop and execute growth strategies, including working closely with the VP of Expansion for new market entries.
- Implement technology-driven solutions to enhance scheduling, workforce management, and customer experience.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory requirements in both Canadian and U.S. jurisdictions.
- Develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Partner with marketing and sales teams to support revenue growth through exceptional service delivery and customer retention strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in multi‑unit operations management, preferably within the residential home services, construction, or related industry.
- Experience taking an operation from startup to scale‑up in geographically dispersed locations.
- Proven experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams across the United States and Canada.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing budgets, P&L statements, and cost‑control measures.
- Expertise in operational process improvement, workforce optimization, and service quality enhancement.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions to drive operational excellence.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills.
- Willingness to travel frequently across the U.S. and Canada as needed.
- Experience working with technology‑driven solutions for scheduling, dispatch, and customer service.
Full‑time
Pay$200,000 - $230,000
