Sales Manager – Service/Repair/Modernization (Denver)

We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to lead our Service, Repair, and Modernization branch in Denver, CO. The role focuses on driving revenue, profit margin, and overall sales growth by leading a sales force across all three lines of business, creating a culture that is the easiest to do business with, and ensuring sales representatives exceed goals and objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Build strong customer relationships with key branch customers and maintain a strong working knowledge of the overall market area movement including market penetration, volume for different lines of business, competitors’ positions and strategies.
  • Manage and develop branch sales representatives, including setting sales goals, reviewing performance, and providing ongoing training and development. Administer quarterly performance management process and support representatives with timely issue resolution.
  • Lead business growth and foster relationships with key customers, consultants and architects. Create synergies across all lines of business and lead the NIM process to produce 100% on‑time conversion.
  • Support a culture of customer satisfaction that promotes retention. Work with other departments for proactive customer assistance.
  • Implement and oversee strategic sales initiatives in alignment with corporate and regional strategies.
  • Develop a consistent and superior brand identity for all sales employees when making presentations, proposals and preparing bids. Identify sales‑skill opportunities and initiate training/coaching as required.
  • Ensure all bids are approved at established levels, submit high‑value bids with the appropriate approval package, and monitor sales activity using CRM to approve incentive plans.
  • Set and review sales goals aligned with budget and corporate guidelines; provide quarterly performance reviews, initiate performance management and progressive discipline when needed. Prepare booking activity forecasts and analyze sales reports for action planning.
  • Review P&L and other financial reports to monitor branch performance, control cancellations and develop sales budgets in collaboration with the Branch Manager and other leaders.
  • Develop bidding strategies for profitability and conduct ITS/factory tours as required to demonstrate technical competence and secure customer interest.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Prior personnel management experience preferred.
  • 5+ years of directly related sales experience in the elevator or related industries.
  • Ability to guide direct reports through contract proposals and business correspondence.
  • Analytical skill to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to improve profitability.
  • Capability to interpret extensive technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form while managing multiple variables.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $140,000 – $180,000, with additional annual incentive compensation 0% – 87.5%. The role includes a car allowance and fuel card.
