American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring at least 1 year of recent OR experience and active CO or compact RN licensure.
Requirements- Active RN license (CO or compact) currently in hand
- Current BLS and ACLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of recent OR RN experience required
- Total joint experience at a level II or III facility preferred
- Experience with robotic surgery systems such as DaVinci preferred
- No gaps in work history exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
- Work in a 4-OR surgical suite plus 1 endoscopy room within a hospital setting
- Unit staffed with 4 full-time RNs, 3 full-time CSTs, and 1 PRN RN
- Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with no night shift coverage
- Call required Monday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 6:00 AM, typically one to two nights per week
- Uses Stryker, Mako, and Globus surgical equipment
- Charts in Meditech EMR
- Performs procedures including ortho and spine surgeries, joint replacements and scrubbing, and laparoscopic cases
- Collaborative, team-oriented personality is ideal for this unit
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered for this assignment
