Key Account Executive – Arrow Electronics
Arrow Electronics is seeking a Key Account Executive to serve as the single point of contact for large, complex customers. This role focuses on building strategic relationships, achieving sales quotas, and maximizing margins through solution‑based selling of advanced supply chain solutions.
Responsibilities- Quotations and contract negotiations – plan, manage, and oversee all RFQ’s from assigned customers.
- Ensure that all RFQ activities and strategies are established, communicated, addressed, and agreed upon within Arrow guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Review and negotiate significant contracts and manage contract amendments.
- Facilitate seamless contract renewal/negotiation processes across Arrow and customer departments.
- Maintain a deep understanding of Arrow’s share in the assigned territory and competitor activity.
- Consistently grow share within each assigned account and develop innovative supplier/customer action plans.
- Build influential, strategic relationships at the highest levels of organizations.
- Leverage distribution, supplier, and internal expertise to grow sales and profits in the territory.
- Collaborate with suppliers to provide demand‑creation updates through meetings and reviews.
- Build strong relationships with supplier reps and managers for product development and solution insights.
- Develop relationships with key personnel across marketing, product development, manufacturing, purchasing, and engineering.
- Lead functional teams and projects, serving as a best‑practice/quality resource.
- 8–10 years of key account manager or field sales management experience in the electronic distribution industry.
- Deep understanding of customer needs and decision‑making hierarchies; ability to proactively assess and validate customer requirements.
- Experience with aerospace and defense customers highly preferred.
- Track record with distribution and complex major accounts.
- Hunter mentality and ability to build influential relationships.
- Proficiency with data, Salesforce (SFDC), Excel, and PowerPoint presentations.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- P&L experience preferred.
- Experience managing territory or accounts up to $125 million.
- Commission‑based portion of total compensation.
Hybrid (3 days in‑office, 2 days remote) for locations in Downers Grove, Denver, or Peabody. Fully remote for New York or Texas, with up to 30 % travel and occasional on‑site presence as requested.

Annual hiring range: $ – $. Actual compensation will vary by location, experience, education, and skill level. Base pay to incentive ratio will be finalized at offer.
LocationUS‑IL‑Downers Grove, Illinois (Butterfield Rd). Remote employees may be required to attend the nearest Arrow office as requested.
