Responsibilities
- Observe, inspect, and report construction site work to ensure the integrity of technical and physical security of multiple sites.
- Evaluate and develop physical, personnel, and technical security practices/procedures for various levels of defense‑in‑depth security postures.
- Produce written reports or documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and tablet delivery systems to deliver activities/processes, investigations/anomalies/deficiencies, incidents, and ICD 705 standards on a weekly basis.
- Identify unauthorized materials using physical searches, personnel searches, and technological tools.
- Evaluate methods used to place technical penetrations or unauthorized materials by employing surveillance techniques, observing, and reporting.
- Operate technical security devices, systems, and other monitoring devices proficiently as an individual or with a team in OCONUS and CONUS mission environments.
- Report suspicious behavior, security infractions, and correlations between site blueprints and ICD 705 standards to highlight anomalistic behavior.
- Note:
This position will not sponsor a clearance or upgrade.
- Prior experience with Microsoft Office programs, report development, tablet mechanics, blueprint reading, and construction projects (personal, residential, and/or commercial).
- Background in providing security practices such as executive protection, physical security, personnel security, site security, and surveillance.
- At least 2 years of ACS experience.
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, overtime, and travel to different site locations as directed by ACS management.
- Prior military experience (MOS such as MSG, Infantry, Technical Surveillance, Construction, Security Protection Details (WHCA, FAST, CQB)).
- Ability to read blueprints, develop, implement, and follow physical and site security practices/procedures.
- Construction knowledge—including blueprint reading, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, concrete, and finishing work.
- Comprehension of blueprint reading and ability to identify discrepancies in coordination with ICD 705 to ensure SCIF construction is upheld to a high standard.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD to understand different phases of construction.
- OCONUS experience or current passport.
- Working knowledge of construction safety, construction project cycles, and common nomenclature of material.
The starting hourly rate for this position is $25 per hour. Factors that may affect starting pay within this range include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
