Position SummaryAs an Aquatics Assistant Swim Team Coach, you must enjoy working in a fast‑paced environment. You will help our Swim Team members improve their swimming in our state‑of‑the‑art recreational and lap pools, both indoors and out. You will work with the Head Swim Team Coach to write and lead Swim Team Group Workouts, register new participants for the team, and maintain the cleanliness and order of our Aquatics Facilities.
Job Duties And Responsibilities- Offer competitive swimmers the opportunity to master technique.
- Run daily practices under the direction of the head coach.
- Promote all Life Time products, services, and programs.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1 year of swim coaching experience.
- Member of ASCA.
- Member of USA Swimming.
- CPR/AED certification required.
- Lifeguard Certification within 60 days of hire.
- Must complete all job-specific requirements with Life Time Education.
- Ability to work in a stationary position and move around the club for prolonged periods.
- Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests regarding Life Time products and services.
- Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping.
- Ability to routinely bend to raise 20 lbs or less, and occasionally bend to raise more than 20 lbs.
- ASCA Level 1 Certification or higher.
This is an hourly position with wages starting at $16.00 and paying up to $19.00, based on experience and qualifications.
