Delivery Driver

Role Overview: This position involves safely and efficiently transporting products via tractor trailer to customers, ensuring proper delivery, unloading, and maintaining food safety standards.

• Operate automated equipment and drive both team and single routes, primarily during evening hours, with minimal travel.
• Complete all necessary paperwork, including logs, inspections, invoices, and reports accurately and timely.
• Adhere to food safety protocols, maintain vehicle cleanliness, and ensure proper storage and handling of products.
• Develop positive customer relationships through courteous and professional service.
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 90 pounds, climbing in/out of trailers, and handling pallets.

Qualifications & Skills: High school diploma or GED preferred, with at least 1 year of tractor trailer experience or completion of a driving school. Must hold a valid Class A CDL and be insurable. Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hazmat guidelines, and safe delivery practices required. Skills include long-distance driving, problem-solving, effective communication, and basic math. Ability to operate various vehicle types and equipment, and read/write in English.

Physical & Work Environment: Regular physical activity including lifting, pushing, and reaching; exposure to varying weather conditions; working in moderate noise levels; occasional exposure to cold, heat, fumes, and confined spaces. Flexibility for overtime, weekends, and holidays is necessary.
