We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist passionate about enhancing lives! You will evaluate, develop care plans, and deliver treatments related to swallowing disorders, dysphagia, and communication disorders, primarily for adult and geriatric patients, following state practice guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and evaluations for speech therapy needs, including swallowing and communication disorders.
- Develop and implement treatment plans with measurable outcomes, based on physicians' orders and professional standards.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Collaborate and train community staff, patients, families, and rehabilitation teams.
- Participate in quality improvement activities.
Requirements:
- Successful completion of an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
- Current valid Speech Language Pathologist license in the appropriate state.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care.
