Guest Service Associate​/Cashier

Overview

Guest Service Associate/Cashier (GSA) at Global Partners LP. The GSA is responsible for driving a top-notch guest experience while facilitating the completion of store-level tasks. • Greet guests and provide an enjoyable shopping experience for everyone.
• Adhere to established safety, security, quality, and store operations policies and procedures.
• Operate the point of sale according to corporate standards; maintain proper cash, lottery, and tobacco levels.
• Complete all store housekeeping tasks (cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, trash removal).
• Replenish products and supplies to ensure in-stock conditions at all times.
• Communicate with store management regarding guest requests and vendor-related concerns.
• Check in external and internal vendors per established guidelines.
• Conduct gas tank inventory and merchandising projects as assigned by management.
• Complete other tasks as assigned by management.

• Must be available to work flexible hours that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in intermittent temperatures; e.g., outside, cooler, etc.
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs, reach, bend, twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, and lift/carry up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to freely access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area, and register area.
• Ability to count, read, and write accurately to complete required paperwork.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
