• Assist and deliver patient‑care duties under the supervision of a provider or practice manager.
• Perform patient examinations and treatments, including measuring vital signs, interviewing patients, and recording information in patient charts.
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations.
• Cross‑train to enhance efficiency and continuity of patient care.

• Medical Assistant:
  Current certification/registration as CCMA, CMA (AAMA), NCMA, RMA (through AMT) or completion of the KHMG Medical Assistant Training Program or an accredited MA program with certification/registration obtained within 15 months of hire.
• LPN:
  Graduate of an accredited LPN program (or equivalent) with a current Ohio license.
• Medical assistants who are not certified or registered at the time of hire will be restricted from administering medication and entering Epic orders until credentials are verified.
• Applicants who do not meet the required certification criteria (e.g., on‑job training only, program completed but exam not passed, lapsed or expired certification, STNAs or CNAs with at least 6 months of direct patient‑care experience) will not be considered.

• Minimum one year of clinical experience in a medical or physician office setting.
• Experience using electronic medical records.
• Practical knowledge in examination processes, diagnostic and treatment room procedures, medical equipment and instruments, safety hazards and precautions, confidentiality and discretion.
