American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a day shift assignment requiring ARRT certification and GE equipment experience.

• Work in a hospital MRI unit within a large acute care setting
• Schedule is Monday through Friday from 6 : 30 AM to 3 : 00 PM
• May be required to perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs
• Patient flow coordination and activities within the Radiology Department are part of the role
• Experience with GE MRI equipment is required
• May include on-call responsibilities
• Responsible for independently performing diagnostic MRI exams and administering contrast media as needed
• Operates equipment and performs venipuncture within the technologist’s scope of practice
• Exercises professional judgment to maintain MRI equipment in optimal working condition
• Requests for time off must be submitted with the initial application and are subject to manager approval
• Scrub / dress code details not specified; check with management prior to start
• Local Radiology candidates will be considered regardless of distance

• Associate degree in Allied Health with a focus in Radiologic Technology
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a large hospital;
  Level 1 Trauma Center preferred or Level 2 accepted
• Current BLS certification through AHA, ARRT certification, and ODH certification required
• Experience working as a traveler is preferred
• Must be fitted for an N95 respirator before working on the HRRU unit unless a PAPR is used
• Ability to work every other holiday as scheduled
• License required if applicable
