Support Associate - Front Office (Urology)
Join Dayton Physicians Network in our independently owned Urology practice as a Front Office Support Associate. This role supports all functions within the medical office, ensuring efficient patient flow and administrative operations.
SummaryThe Front Office Support Associate provides support to all functions within the medical office. Duties include answering and routing incoming calls, patient check-in/out, collecting co-payments/deductibles, updating patient demographic information, scheduling appointments, filing, scanning medical records, and other administrative tasks as needed.
ScheduleMonday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, eight‑hour shifts. The position is primarily based at our Centerville office, with occasional rotation to Englewood. No evenings, weekends, or holidays.

- Smile, make eye contact, and greet with energy.

- Explain potential delays and provide frequent updates.

- Answer and route incoming calls.
- Obtain, verify, and update patient demographic information.
- Collect and record co-payments and/or deductibles.
- Verify charts contain all necessary paperwork.
- Schedule return appointments as required.
- Scan medical records for EMR as needed or requested.
- Ensure patient waiting area is free from trash and clutter.
- Assist other office support positions as needed or requested.
- Follow all health care privacy and safety rules and adhere to Dayton Physicians Core Values.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED required. At least one (1) year of previous experience in a medical office or administrative position; 2–3 years of experience preferred.
General Skill Requirements- Excellent oral and written communication.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience working with a Practice Management system.
- Attendance and punctuality are essential to provide excellent customer service.
