HUC​/EDT​/ADMIT CLERK- Miami Valley South

** 7PM-7:30AM/ 36 hours per week/ 72 hours per pay period   
** Facility:
** Miami Valley Hospital South The Emergency Department Technician/Health Unit Coordinator/Admission Clerk works under the direction of a RN as part of the health care team to assist with patient care activities. She/He will directly/indirectly impact the patient outcomes and care provided to our customers.
** Education

Education Required:

High School completion / GED    
** Licensure/Certification/Registration
** Current Health Care Provider or Professional Rescuer BLS/Responder certification required prior to completion of orientation.

** Experience
* * Minimum Level of Experience

Required:

No prior job-related work experience

Preferred experience:

Medical terminology  Other experience requirements:  Successful completion of one of the following:  
1.Completion of previous STNA or CNA training or Patient Care Technician/Assistant training.  
2.Direct patient care experience within the last five years:
Performing fundamental skills of vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) & direct patient care activities ie. Bathing, turning/positioning, toileting  
3.Currently enrolled in nursing school and completion of at least one clinical rotation.  4.EMT-Basic certification  Special Consideration:
If the candidate has previous direct patient care experience, they may be excused from fundamental training (BCOP) upon completion of successful skills validation. This is in lieu of the above requirements
