BA Multi-Unit Team Leader

• Serve as the front-line manager responsible for leadership and development of associates across three Block Advisors offices.
• Deliver an outstanding client experience and achieve office growth objectives (clients, revenue, and earnings).
• Lead and coach associates, build an engaging team environment across all offices, and lead daily team meetings.
• Coordinate office staffing, operations, and logistics with support from Associate Team Leaders; create and implement office-level growth plans and client growth targets in partnership with the District General Manager (DGM).
• Assist in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions; conduct timely performance reviews and address performance concerns with support from the Associate Relations Center.
• Create associate work schedules across offices and manage timekeeping and labor across all offices; travel between offices as required.
• Prepare tax returns as needed after successful completion of the Income Tax Course or Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Starting fall: flexible part-time schedule to prepare for tax season;
  January–April: transition to full-time with possible evening/weekend hours;
  May–December: reduced schedule and opportunities for advancement.

• People management experience with the ability to grow and develop associates.
• Ability to execute growth plans and foster a growth-oriented culture.
• Strong decision-making and judgment skills; capable of working in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric mindset to understand and exceed client needs.
• Computer proficiency, including MS Office.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or a high school diploma with equivalent experience.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or the Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns).
• Multi-unit people management experience in retail, restaurant, banking, or related industries is a plus.
