Overview

The Premier Physician Network offers a variety of Nurse Practitioner positions with varying degrees of responsibility. In collaboration with physician(s) and clinical staff, Nurse Practitioners are responsible for exemplary primary health care and continuity of medical services under the supervision of physicians. Responsibilities vary by position and specialty, and the practitioner must be accessible to physicians, staff, and supervisors.

Knowledge of professional medical practice to assess and provide patient care. Skilled in applying and modifying principles, methods, and techniques of medicine to deliver ongoing patient care. Competent in taking medical history, assessing conditions, interpreting findings, and maintaining quality assurance and quality control standards. Capable of acting calmly in emergency situations. Excellent communication skills with patients and colleagues are essential.

• Applicant must hold a Master’s degree from an accredited NP program.
• Applicant must be a certified NP (ACNP); current Ohio licensure is required and must be maintained at all times.
• Certificate to prescribe must be current and maintained at all times.
• Applicants must have a minimum of five years of experience as a Registered Nurse; one year as an ACNP preferred.
• Must have a thorough understanding of HIPAA law and demonstrate professional discretion at all times.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; communication with patients and colleagues essential.
• Computer literacy required, including Excel, Word, Outlook;
  Electronic Medical Records experience (preferably EPIC) is an advantage.
