Clinical Nurse – PACU
Shift: 9:00 AM – 6:30 PM, full-time, 72 hours per pay period. On‑call rotation required. Must be able to reach the hospital within 30 minutes.
The Clinical Nurse is a registered nurse (RN) who partners with and advocates for patients, families, and significant others to provide physical, emotional, and spiritual support that impacts patient outcomes in a safe environment. The RN functions in a versatile role that demonstrates professionalism and promotes excellence and autonomy in nursing practice. The RN utilizes the nursing process with evidence‑based principles to care for a diverse caseload within the department scope of service.
The RN serves as guide, healer, collaborator, teacher, leader, and sentry, and collaborates with the inter‑professional team. The RN is accountable for compliance with the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, Nursing Code of Ethics, and applicable regulatory standards.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Valid Ohio RN license.
- Critical care experience required.
- Must be able to multitask with constant interruptions while maintaining a pleasant demeanor.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
