Customer Service Rep, Retail Associate/ Customer Service

Provide exceptional customer service to help people live healthier lives by treating customers and employees fairly and ethically, ensuring a safe, clean, inclusive environment, and offering the right products, services, and care at the right time with fair and accurate pricing. Assist with direct patient interventions by providing health and wellness services in accordance with state and federal laws. Responsibilities- Comply with all local, state, and federal regulations and report illegal activities such as robbery, theft, or fraud.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and safety regulations, identify unsafe conditions, and notify management.
- Manage ordering functions with primary and secondary wholesalers.
- Follow company guidelines on inventory management, control, and ordering of medications, devices, supplements, and supplies.
- Maintain clean and organized work stations and customer areas.
- Count, measure, and prepare specified products following best practices.
- Complete billing procedures accurately to maximize value for customers and the company.
- Answer phones, triage calls, and handle inquiries appropriately.
- Adhere to guidelines on accepting vendor coupons, cash handling, and shrinkage prevention.
- Operate the cash register following all policies, including handling electronic transactions and cash.
- Provide excellent customer service while accurately completing reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing.
- Assist pharmacists with responsibilities excluding those requiring professional judgment.
- Follow HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding patient privacy.
- Support health and wellness initiatives.
- Manage legend drug orders and deliveries.
- Work cooperatively in high-paced and stressful environments.
- Manage conflicts professionally and cooperatively.
- Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
- Follow directions and seek assistance to resolve issues.
- Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
- Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
Minimum
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must be 18 years or older
- Ability to handle confidential information
- Meet state requirements for the role
Desired
- Previous relevant experience
- Experience as a pharmacy clerk
- Familiarity with EPRN
