Sales Floor Assistant - Dayton Mall

Overview

Sales Floor Assistant - Dayton Mall  role is responsible for driving customer service to achieve profitable sales growth by leading and engaging associates, managing merchandise standards and execution, training and developing associates, and executing sales-building programs.

• Customer Service & Sales - Model and hold the team accountable for delivering outstanding customer service. Actively listen to customer issues to resolve problems. Demonstrate WORTH behaviors consistently. Partner with other team members when additional support is needed.
• Door to Floor / Restock / RFID & Inventory - Plan upcoming merchandise placement with the Merchandise Supervisor. Contribute to merchandise receipt and reverse logistics processes. Assist with inventory processes (cycle counts, system uploads, stock ledger, RFID scans). Contribute to the Shoe on Display restocking process, including mismates and stockroom organization. Support the restock program to identify replenishment opportunities.
• SET / Visual / Environment - Assist with SET processes by planning floor moves, placing graphics, and executing visual detailing per company guidance. Identify sell-through opportunities and remerchandise the selling floor to increase rate of sale. Oversee and maintain fitting room and sales floor recovery processes to ensure a clean, organized store environment. Contribute to visual elements supporting merchandising statements. Responsible for stockroom maintenance.
• Omnichannel - Assist with  processes including orders, aged/undelivered orders, and returns as needed. Support Buy Online Pick Up In Store and Ship from Store processes as needed.
• General Operations - Contribute to Merchandise Transfer Out (MTO), Return to Vendor and Return to Warehouse activities. Assist with Defective MTO (DMTO) processes to ensure inventory integrity and prevent shrink. Participate in annual inventory processes.
• Performance Standards - Support shrink and safety initiatives. Consistently meet established performance standards for product and service sales, customer service, profit, productivity, and attendance.
