Security officer meansSecurity officer means any persons whose primary duties are to protect persons or property. Security officers means non-commissioned. Security Officers are not authorized to exercise police officer powers. Responsible for investigation of criminal offenses that occur on facility property. Enforce facility rules and regulations.
EducationMinimum Level of
Education Required:
High School completion / GED
Preferred educational qualifications:
Associates Degree
OPOTA
- Required Basic Security Guard Training. Including the state required 20 hours of firearms Training
Valid Ohio driver’s license required
ExperienceMinimum Level of Experience
Required:
No prior job-related work experience
Computer skills desirable
