Material Handling Engineer – Mining Projects

Centerville, UT (Hybrid Schedule)

Contract (Minimum 6 Months, Potential for Extension)
Our client, a respected Engineering & Design firm, is seeking a Material Handling Engineer to support mining-related projects in their Centerville, Utah office. This is a hybrid contract role, with an initial term of at least 6 months, and strong potential for extension.
About the RoleYou'll work on the design and engineering of complex material handling systems for mining operations. This includes everything from conveyor and crusher design to dust collection systems. If you have a strong foundation in mechanical/material handling design—especially in mining—you'll hit the ground running.
Key Responsibilities- Engineering of various conveyors, including radial stackers, feed and transfer conveyors
- Layouts for screeners, vibrating grizzly feeders, and hoppers
- Background in mining or heavy industrial engineering projects
- Experience with gold mining operations is a plus, but not required
- Ability to work independently and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong knowledge of material handling equipment
Hourly wage: $45-$70.
