HI-VALLEY CHEMICAL is currently seeking a hazmat truck driver to join our team.
ABOUT USWe are a small, woman-owned business that provides the best in quality chemical sales and blending.
What we offer:- Full-time, year-round work (M-F, 8AM - 5PM with a 1-hour lunch break, unpaid)
- Starting pay between $24 - $26/hour DOE (re-evaluation of pay at 90 days)

- Adhere to all DOT regulations and Hi-Valley Chemical policies/protocols
- Correctly Perform and complete DVIRs, notifying Manager of any maintenance issues
- Correctly complete all necessary paperwork for deliveries and pick ups
- Deliver and pick up products from customers and vendors in a timely and professional manner
- Operate and maneuver pallet jack to load and off load truck
- Perform quality checks on all deliveries/pick-ups
- Perform housekeeping on box truck
- Forklift operation
- Engage in excellent customer service
- Repackage chemicals/fulfill orders
- Perform quality checks on all incoming and outgoing orders
- Maintain delivery board
- Participate in shipping/receiving duties
- Assist will-call customers
- Housekeeping
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and management
- Perform all other duties as needed

You’re able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Possess a valid CDL Class B (or
A) with an X endorsement - Physically and mentally fit, with a current Medical Card
- Pass a drug/alcohol screening upon employment, incidents, or reasonable suspicion
- Clean Driving and Clearinghouse record
- Pass a Background Check
- Clean shaven (a fit test will be required for a respirator)
- Reliable and dependable
- Attentive to detail
- Capable of following instructions/directions
- Safe, attentive and proactive driver
- Able to lift 60 lbs. and move drums up to 700 lbs. (with equipment)
- Experience:
1 year minimum of driving experience (it does not need to be chemical delivery experience)
