A specialised school in Flitwick is seeking a Psychology Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, Flitwick to join their supportive and dedicated team. In this role, you will support and inspire children with ASD, ADHD, ADD, SEMH and other additional learning needs.

This Psychology Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant, Flitwick position will provide practical experience working with cases commonly seen in Educational Psychology, while allowing you to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.

The school is particularly interested in recent graduates who are eager to begin their careers and gain valuable experience.

Job Role
  • Providing 1:1 support and working with small groups of pupils to enhance learning, engagement and confidence
  • Applying psychology knowledge to support students with ASD, ADHD, ADD, SEMH, SEN and other additional needs
  • Supporting students in developing a positive attitude towards learning and the school environment
  • Helping to create a safe, supportive and comfortable environment for all pupils
  • Assisting with planning and delivering targeted interventions to improve understanding and progress
Job Requirements
  • A Psychology degree or other relevant educational background
  • Availability to work during school hours
