Colin Vass Gardeners are a garden maintainenance business who service gardens thoughout the year.

This is a fantastic opportunity to jpin our fun and supportive team as a Gardener assistant apprentice.

Duties will include but not limited to;

• Weeding
• Grass cutting

Opportinity to get fully trained in garden maintanance allowing experience for a long career in the industry

• Some knowledge and interest in gardening
• Willing to learn
• Active and fast moving

• Applicants must not already hold a level 2 or above in horticulture

• On completion of the apprenticeship, there is a high chance of a full time role for the right candidate.

• Full training to be provided by the employer and KEITS at the place of employment.
• The applicant will be working towards and gain a Level 2 Horticulture and Landscape Operative Apprenticeship
• The learner will be allocated an industry specific training consultant who will provide both remote and on site visits throughout the apprenticeship.
• The apprentice will work towards an End Point Assessment (EPA) at the end of their apprenticeship.
• You will also need to achieve Level 3 award in Emergency First Aid at Work and Level 2 Principles of Safe Handling and Application of Pesticides Guidance or Level 2 Award in the Safe Use of Pesticides before undertaking the End Point Assessment.

• KEITS Training Services Ltd reserves the right to close the vacancy earlier than the listed closing date should the need arise and also extend the vacancy should the need arise as well.
• The apprentice will be working to build a portfolio of evidence and will be required to pass a knowledge test and an End Point Assessment (EPA) to complete the apprenticeship.
• Due to the popularity of our apprenticeships applicants may not hear if unsuccessful.
