About the role

The Electrical Inspector is the first line of defence against electrical defects in our production environment. Using a combination of hands‑on inspection, electrical testing, and data‑driven analysis, the role verifies that all wiring, components, and sub‑assemblies meet the company's engineering specifications, code requirements, and customer obligations. The Inspector works independently, but collaborates closely with Design, Production, and Reliability teams to drive continuous improvement, close non‑conformances, and maintain a culture of safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities

Electrical Inspection & Testing
- Conduct visual, dimensional, and functional inspection of wire harnesses, printed circuit boards, cable assemblies, connectors, and electrical enclosures using calipers, multimeters, insulation‑resistance testers, continuity mats, and software‑assisted tools.

Interpretation of Schematics & Documentation
- Read 2‑D/3‑D schematics, wiring diagrams, and BOMs. Translate them into inspection plans, tolerance tables, and checklists.

Required skills, qualifications and experience

IPC
620 - Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies
Understanding and handling of ESD products
Performing electrical inspection verification by use of measurement hand tools such as Digital Volt Multimeters, Ohmmeters
Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) accurately
Basic problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot minor issues
Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively

Desired Skills

IPC
610 - Electronic Assembly Standard
ATE programming and testing
Ability to manage changing priorities in a dynamic environment

Experience with SAP or similar systems
Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on efficiency and accuracy
Logical approach to problem-solving and data interpretation
