We’re currently seeking a full-time, in-person Special Education Teacher to support a school in Providence County, Rhode Island for the 2026–2027 school year

Qualifications:

• Valid Rhode Island Special Education certification (Moderate or Severe)
• Experience working in sub-separate and/or specialized classroom settings
• Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers and support staff
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student’s needs
• Collaborate with general education staff and support teams to design inclusive lesson plans when appropriate
• Monitor and document student progress, adjusting strategies as necessary
• Manage classroom behavior and facilitate social skill development
• Communicate regularly with families and support staff regarding student development
