We're recruiting on behalf of a growing, privately held business that is operating internationally. They are seeking a skilled Group Accountant. This role will be central to managing group consolidation and delivering financial clarity across multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end and year-end close processes and group consolidation
• Prepare consolidated financial statements (under IFRS and/or UK GAAP)
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and variance analysis
• Support external audit processes and documentation
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow reporting at group level
• Identify and implement improvements in financial reporting, internal controls, and processes

What We're Looking For

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• Proven experience with multi-entity consolidation
• Strong technical accounting knowledge (IFRS and/or UK GAAP)
• Advanced Excel skills plus comfort with financial reporting tools
• Sharp analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Collaborative team player
• Exposure to acquisition accounting or M&A integration
• Familiarity with financial or ERP systems
