Based in London, this position offers exposure to a broad portfolio of owner-managed businesses, SMEs, and entrepreneurial clients across multiple sectors.

What you'll be doing:

• Preparing year-end accounts and financial statements for a wide range of clients
• Assisting with management accounts, VAT returns, and cash flow reporting
• Supporting managers and senior staff with client portfolio work
• Working extensively with cloud-based accounting software including Xero
• Building strong relationships with clients and responding to day-to-day queries
• Supporting digital accounting processes and cloud migration projects
• Assisting with bookkeeping and financial reporting assignments where required
• Ensuring deadlines and compliance requirements are met efficiently

What we're looking for:

• Previous experience working within an accountancy practice environment
• Experience preparing accounts for a variety of businesses and client types
• Strong working knowledge of Xero and cloud accounting platforms
• Exposure to software such as Sage, Quick Books, or similar packages
• Studying towards ACA or ACCA, or qualified through practical experience
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to client service
• Organised, motivated, and able to manage workload effectively
• A genuine interest in developing a long-term career within the Accountancy sector
