• Lead on‑site audits, implementing the agreed plan through to completion, coordinating on‑site resources and allocating the team to tasks and timescales for completion.
• Lead audit quality, ensuring adherence and compliance with company practice and auditing standards.
• Work closely with audit juniors, reviewing their work and supporting them in their development.
• Prepare on‑site audit findings reports, identifying and documenting areas of concern or risks and submitting for review.
• Develop good client relationships, adapting approach and communication to ensure client satisfaction.
• Understand the impact on client relationships where multiple services are offered across the business to the same client and collaborate with other teams to ensure a great client experience.
• Offer support to team members and across other teams, sharing knowledge and getting personally involved.
• Identify overlapping work, potential conflicts, and opportunities, taking actions to maximise cross‑team working.

• ACCA or ACA qualified.
• 4–5 years post‑qualification working in a similar environment (e.g., regional accountancy firm).
• Experience overseeing, training and developing audit juniors on‑site and in the office for assigned clients.
• Experience working with groups of companies that are growing with possible MBOs, funding requirements, plans to sell, business acquisitions and group restructurings.
• Experience working within a multi‑disciplinary team.
