The role is primarily focused on the provision of high-quality personal tax compliance and also includes the provision of tax advice throughout the year for a varied and complex client base. Our clients include high and ultra-high net worth individuals, non-domiciled clients, and those with complex cross-border tax considerations, UK and offshore trusts, and partnerships. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced managers, senior managers, directors and partners and to learn from them.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver all aspects of the tax compliance cycle on a timely basis for your client portfolio.
  • Prepare tax returns for a complex and varied client base.
  • Prepare written correspondence for clients and deal with HM Revenue & Customs in connection with the clients’ affairs.
  • Correspond directly with clients, family office representatives and other key stakeholders, and attend client meetings.
  • Work with managers, senior managers, directors and partners to deliver tax advice and tax planning for clients.
  • Monitor WIPs and budgets, ensuring work is billed on completion and debts are chased.

The team of approximately 30 staff collaborates to deliver high-quality tax compliance and advisory services to our clients. A positive and enthusiastic attitude, high motivation, ability and commitment are essential. Candidates should have experience running the compliance cycle for their own portfolio of clients and demonstrate excellent organisational and prioritisation skills to meet deadlines.

Ideal candidates will have experience providing ad hoc tax advice (including inheritance, capital gains tax and non-dom planning) and some experience working with clients with international considerations. A professional services background, confident communication with colleagues, partners and clients, and the ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team are valued. High attention to detail and timely work are important, as are excellent IT skills.
