I've partnered with an incredibly dynamic, fast‑growing Media & Entertainment business based in Central London to find an a hands‑on Accounts Assistant.

• Recording day to day financial transactions and completing the posting process
• Verifying that transactions are recorded correctly for the supplier’s ledger, customer ledger and general ledger, Process accounts receivable/payable
• Bringing the books to the trial balance stage
• Enter data, maintain records and create reports
• Manage the filing of invoices and expenses, scanning, archiving and shredding of older files.

• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable/receivable principles
• Proven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Hands‑on experience with spreadsheets
• Proficiency in English and in MS Office
• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
• Previous experience of SAGE
• Knowledge of the Tour Operator Margin scheme (TOMS) desirable
• Ad‑hoc duties as requested by the Finance Manager
