An exciting new opportunity is available for an ambitious Senior Accountant or Semi Senior Accountant, to join a diverse and forward thinking Accountancy Practice in Central London. This practice pride themselves on the excellent client relationships they've stablished over the past 20 years, and are seeking a driven accountant, who can maintain these excellent levels of service

This role is well suited to a newly qualified or part qualified Accountant, with existing accountancy practice experience. You will be working within a portfolio of clients, carrying out a wide range of responsibilities including statutory accounts and management accounts preparation, personal and corporate tax returns, and more. Senior Accountant

Job Responsibilities
  • Preparation of statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly management accounts
  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns
  • Preparation of personal tax returns and supporting tax computations
  • Preparation of corporation tax returns
  • Maintaining accurate accounting records and reviewing client bookkeeping
  • Liaising directly with clients to obtain information and resolve queries
  • Supporting clients with general accounting and tax queries
  • Assisting with year-end procedures and ensuring deadlines are met
  • Working closely with managers and partners across a varied client portfolio
Senior Accountant

Job Requirements
  • Part ACA or ACCA qualified is ideal, as well as newly qualified or more experience professionals
  • A minimum of 3 years experience in accountancy practice
  • Experience in statutory accounting, management accounting, personal tax, and corporate tax
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
Senior Accountant Salary & Benefits
  • £35,000-£45,000 depending on level of experience
  • Some hybrid working can be supported after probation
  • 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays
