- Accurate and timely production of monthly management accounts
- Compliance with statutory requirements, adhering to deadlines as appropriate
- Managing and training the wider business through strong business partnering
- Monitoring financial performance against agreed budgets and forecasts
- Regularly informing the Head of Finance of business-critical issues and opportunities; proposing solutions to problems
Qualified or part qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) - 3+ years' experience in a similar role (preferably wholesale/retail)
- Strong IT literacy - Advanced Excel, accounting software
- Motivated individual with good attention to detail
- Excellent written and communication skills
- Challenging and 'can-do' attitude
- Ability to perform under pressure
- Self-disciplined and proactive team player
